Sarah Davey
Exercise Physiologist

From her own life journey and working with a diverse range of people, Sarah strongly believes we all have our own life experiences that shape us but shouldn’t don't define us! Everyone deserves equal opportunities to live the best quality life possible. People should all be treated as individuals including our exercise fitness/rehabilitation journeys. Sarah believes there are many aspects to a balanced healthy body ranging from sleep, nutrition, movement, mind and social aspects that need a wholistic approach.

Sarah has always had a desire to make a difference in people's lives. After graduating as an exercise physiologist with a focus on musculoskeletal rehabilitation from the University of Ballarat in 2005 she worked in lung and heart rehabilitation and sporting teams. She moved to the coast in 2008 and this is when helping people with musculoskeletal injuries quickly became her passion. Assisting people to set goals and recover from an injury or achieve their best quality of life possible. Over her career she has helped many people recover from shoulder and knee injuries.

From 2008 through till 2020 Sarah had her own multidisciplinary allied health clinics across the Sunshine Coast focusing on injury prevention as well as chronic and complex conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, stroke rehabilitation, diabetes, and young kids with cystic fibrosis.

The last 4 years Sarah has worked closely with young veterans and DVA clients with complex musculoskeletal conditions, PTSD, and mental health concerns. She believes exercise and movement play an important role in not only our physical health but also our mental well-being.

Mum to 3 kids, she loves to be active and outdoors, especially in the ocean and around water. She believes water is a great tool for physical and mental well-being and loves utilising hydrotherapy to get people moving.
